Often a photograph only tells part of a story. I was madly and deeply in love with my girlfriend at the time who was with me while I shot this. I decided to illustrate our love story and my love for her in the landscape. Unbeknownst at the time to me I photographed the future end of our relationship which 26 years later I still think about.
