Buying guide
Choosing a wildlife print
Three decisions shape a wildlife print: the size, the frame and the edition. The gallery can help with each one.
Size
Start with the wall.
Small sizes start at $175 and suit a desk wall or a group hang. Sizes run to 900 × 600 mm, and larger by request. Measure the wall first, then allow space around the work.
Framing
White, black or Tasmanian oak.
Every frame is finished with acid-free mounts and UV-protective glazing. Unframed prints fit standard frame sizes. Framed prints ship within Australia only.
Editions
Small, declared editions.
Wildlife editions run from 15 to 30 per size, plus artist proofs. Each print is signed and numbered. When an edition sells out, it is never reprinted.
The photographers
Who photographs wildlife at IRID
Two photographers who put the animal first. Both work slowly, wait for behaviour and let the subject set the pace.
